Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 3 May 2026

We want you to be confident when you subscribe to Hyperlists. This policy explains how cancellations work, when refunds apply, and your statutory rights.

1. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your Hyperlists subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage in Stripe. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then, and we will not charge you again.

You can also delete your entire account from Settings → Danger zone. This is irreversible.

2. The 14-day trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial of Hyperlists Basic. No payment information is collected up front, so trials simply expire if you choose not to subscribe — there is nothing to cancel and no charge.

3. Refunds — UK / EU consumers (statutory cooling-off period)

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) give you a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your first paid subscription, during which you can cancel for a full refund.

Important: by starting to use a paid Hyperlists subscription within those 14 days, you are expressly requesting that we begin performing the service immediately and acknowledging that you lose your right to a refund for the part of the period during which the service has been used. We will refund the unused portion, prorated, on request to contact@hyperlists.app within the 14-day window.

4. Refunds — outside the cooling-off period

After the 14-day cooling-off period, paid subscription fees are non-refundable for partially used periods. We may, at our discretion, issue a partial refund in cases of:

  • extended Service unavailability caused by us;
  • billing errors or duplicate charges;
  • compassionate circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

To request a discretionary refund, email contact@hyperlists.appwith your account email and the reason for the request. We’ll respond within 5 business days.

5. Failed payments & lapsed subscriptions

If a renewal payment fails, we’ll attempt to charge again over the next several days and notify you by email. If the payment cannot be collected, your subscription becomes read-only: you keep access to your data and can export it, but you can’t create or edit until you renew.

6. Auto-renewal & price changes

Subscriptions auto-renew at the price published on the Pricing page at the time of renewal. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect, giving you the chance to cancel without being charged the new amount.

7. How long does it take?

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear in your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
